Our Skate-A-Thon is the opportunity for sport teams, school classes, families and anybody interested in combining a joyful sport experience with the desire to help and become actively involved in doing good.
All the participants meet on the ice rink in München-Neuperlach. The challenge: each participating group aims to skate as many rounds as possible on the 400-meter ice rink within 30 minutes. In advance every skater gathers as many sponsors as possible donating a certain amount of money per round accomplished. Half of the amount collected is donated to charities taking care of unaccompanied minor refugees. The remaining half is at the disposal of the participating groups and their causes.
